Add furniture from the list. Each piece appears at its typical real size, and you can change the size to match yours.
Drag pieces into place, rotate them and check the overlap warning and the distance from each wall.
Share the plan with a link or download it as a picture.
Why use this tool
Everything to scale: The room and every piece of furniture are drawn at the same scale, so you can see straight away whether a bed, sofa or wardrobe fits.
Real furniture sizes: Standard mattress sizes for Europe and the US, sofas, tables, wardrobes, kitchen and bathroom fittings, plus door swings and custom items.
Overlap warnings: Pieces that collide turn red, while rugs can sit under furniture and a bedside table can touch the bed.
Metric or imperial: Type 3.6 m, 360, 11'10" or 142 in. Everything is shown in the units you choose.
Share and save: Your plan saves automatically in your browser. Send a link so someone else opens the same layout, or download a PNG.
Frequently asked questions
How do I plan a room layout online?
Enter the room size, add the furniture you have or want, and drag it into place. Rotate pieces with the Rotate button or the R key, and adjust sizes to match your own furniture.
Will a king size bed fit in my room?
Add your room size and the bed. A European king mattress is 180 by 200 cm and a US King is 76 by 80 inches; leave around 60 cm of walking space on each side you get out of bed.
How much space should I leave around furniture?
As a guide, keep walkways about 75 to 90 cm wide, leave 45 cm between a sofa and a coffee table, and allow around 90 cm behind dining chairs.
Can I share my room plan?
Yes. Press Share plan and send the link. It contains the whole layout, so it opens exactly the same on another device without any account.
Are the furniture sizes exact?
They are typical sizes. Measure your own furniture and type its width and depth for an exact plan.
