Record your voice in the browser, pause, trim the silence and download it as MP3 or WAV, with recordings kept on your device
How to use
Press the red button and allow the microphone.
Speak. Pause and carry on whenever you like, then press stop to save the recording.
Drag the handles on the waveform to cut the start and end, or press Trim silence to do it automatically.
Choose MP3 or WAV and download, or keep the original file.
Why use this tool
Record, pause, resume: A live waveform and timer show that it is recording, and pausing does not create separate files.
Trim on the waveform: See your whole recording and drag the handles to keep only the part you want, then play the selection before saving.
Automatic silence trimming: One button finds where your voice starts and ends and cuts the quiet parts before and after, with a little breathing room kept.
MP3 or WAV: Save a small MP3 that plays everywhere, a lossless WAV for editing software, or the original recording.
Saved on your device: Recordings stay in your browser after a refresh, so you can come back to them. They are never uploaded.
Voice clean-up: Built-in noise and echo reduction for clearer voice notes, which you can turn off for music or ambient sound.
Frequently asked questions
How do I record my voice online?
Press the red record button, allow microphone access, speak, and press stop. The recording appears below, ready to trim and download.
Are my recordings uploaded?
No. Recording, trimming and conversion all happen in your browser, and recordings are stored only on your device.
Can I download my recording as MP3?
Yes. Choose MP3 and a quality: 128 kbps is clear for speech and small, 192 kbps is better for music.
How long can I record?
As long as your device has memory and storage. Recordings up to 30 minutes can be trimmed and converted in the browser; longer ones can be downloaded as the original file.
Why does my recording sound quiet or muffled?
Check that the right microphone is selected in your system settings and that nothing covers it. Voice clean-up can also soften music or distant sound; turn it off for those.
