How to use

1. Two people are already on the chart. Tap one, or its card, to change the name, height, figure and colour.

Why use this tool

• Everything to one true scale: Every person and object stands on the same ground line at the same pixels per centimetre, so a 5 cm difference looks like 5 cm.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the height comparison?

The drawing is exact for the numbers you enter: every figure is scaled from the ground to the top of the head at the same scale, and the scale lines on both sides are measured from the same ground. The silhouettes use average adult and child body proportions, so a real person's shoulders or build may differ.

Can I use feet and inches?

Yes. Switch the chart to ft / in, or just type a height like 5'9", 5 ft 9 or 69 in. Centimetres and metres work in the same box, and the chart always shows both scales.

How do I compare my height with a character or celebrity?

Add yourself as a person, then add them with their height. If you have a picture, use the Photo tab, crop it so the head touches the top and the feet touch the bottom, and enter how tall they are.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Photos are read and drawn inside your browser. They are not uploaded and are not included in share links, which only carry names, heights and colours.

How tall is a standard door?

A standard interior door in the United States is 80 inches, which is 203 cm. That is the door used on this chart. Many European doors are a little shorter, around 200 to 204 cm.

How high is a basketball hoop?

A regulation basketball rim is exactly 10 feet, or 3.05 metres, above the floor, for both the NBA and FIBA. The chart draws the rim at that height with the backboard above it.
