How can I find my ring size at home?
Use a ring that already fits: lay it on the calibrated circle and match the inside edge. Or wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark the overlap, and measure its length on the on-screen ruler.
Is an online ring sizer accurate?
Yes, once the screen is calibrated. Websites cannot otherwise know how large your screen's pixels are, which is why a bank card, the same size everywhere, is used to set the scale.
What is the most common ring size?
For women, US 6 to 7 is very common; for men, US 9 to 10. Sizes vary widely, so always measure.
How do UK and US ring sizes compare?
UK sizes use letters. US 6 is about UK L½, US 7 is N½, US 8 is P½ and US 10 is T½. The size table on the page shows every system for your exact measurement.
Should I size up for a wide band?
Usually yes. A band 6 to 8 mm wide often needs a quarter to half size larger, and 8 mm or wider about half a size larger, because it covers more of the finger.
