How to use
Choose the kind of dice (d4 to d100) and how many, or type notation like 3d6+2.
Tap the dice, press Roll or hit the space bar. On a phone, turn on Shake to roll.

Is an online dice roller fair?
This one is. Each roll uses the device's cryptographically secure random number generator with rejection sampling, so every face has exactly the same chance, which is fairer than most real dice.
What does 3d6+2 mean?
Roll three six-sided dice, add them up, then add 2. The number before d is how many dice, the number after is how many sides, and the +2 or -2 is added to the total.
What is the most common total with two dice?
Seven. There are 6 ways to make 7 out of 36 combinations, about 16.7%. 2 and 12 are the rarest, 1 in 36 each.
Is a coin flip really 50/50?
Here, yes: heads and tails are equally likely every flip. Past results do not change the next one, so a long streak is just chance.
Can I roll by shaking my phone?
Yes. Turn on Shake to roll, allow motion access if asked, and give the phone a quick shake.
