Keep score for up to 8 teams with a game timer and full screen mode, or run a quiz with a fair first-to-buzz buzzer on one device
How to use
Choose how many teams play and name them.
Tap a team's score to add points, or use the keyboard: Q W E R to add and A S D F to subtract. Undo fixes mistakes.
Set a countdown or stopwatch and press Full screen to show the scoreboard on a TV or projector.
For a quiz, open the Quiz buzzer tab, read a question, open the buzzers and see who pressed first.
Why use this tool
Up to 8 teams: Big, colourful scores that anyone can read from across the room, with names, rankings, a crown for the leader and points per tap from 1 to 10.
Game timer with a horn: Countdown presets or a stopwatch, pause and resume, and a horn when time runs out.
Full screen for a TV: One tap fills the screen with the scores and the timer, ideal for classrooms, parties and sports halls.
A fair quiz buzzer: Players tap their colour or press their key. The winner is decided by the exact moment of each press, even when two land in the same instant.
No guessing early: Buzz before the buzzers open and you are locked out for 2 seconds. After a wrong answer, reopen the buzzers for everyone else.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use this as a quiz buzzer?
Open the Quiz buzzer tab and choose the number of players. Each player gets a coloured button and a keyboard key. Read the question, press Open buzzers, and the first press wins.
Is the buzzer fair if two people press at the same time?
Yes. Each press is time-stamped by the browser when it happens, and presses are judged by those times, not by the order the page processes them.
Can I show the scoreboard on a TV?
Yes. Open this page on a laptop connected to the TV, or cast the browser tab, and press Full screen.
Will I lose the scores if I close the page?
No. Team names, scores and settings are saved in your browser and come back when you return.
Can players buzz from their own phones?
Not in this version. All players share one device, such as a tablet in the middle of the table or a laptop keyboard.
