Split a list of names into random teams, or fair teams balanced by skill level, for sport, class and games
How to use
Type or paste the names, one per line.
For fair teams, add a level from 1 to 5 after each name, like "Sam 4", and keep Balance teams by level on.
Choose how many teams you want, or how many players go in each team.
Press Make teams. Press it again for a new draw, and copy the teams to send them to the group.
Why use this tool
Fair teams by skill level: The strongest players are spread out first, then players are swapped between teams until the total levels are as even as possible, so no team is stacked.
Still random every time: Players of the same level are shuffled with secure randomness, so balanced teams are different on every draw and nobody can say it was fixed.
Team count or team size: Ask for 4 teams, or for teams of 5. Team sizes never differ by more than one player.
Ready to share: Teams get colour names, and one tap copies them as a list for a group chat.
